Hello Fellow B2B Writing Success Members!

I am so excited to be here as your Reality Blogger. And a little bit terrified, too. You know, it’s easy to write about topics like case studies, emails, and marketing. But writing about yourself … that’s hard.

When it comes right down to it, though, it’s the real-life stuff that makes or breaks you. It’s the real-life stuff that determines whether you push on through adversity, or give up. And sometimes it’s the real-life stuff that just gets in your way and makes your dreams take longer to achieve.

But we’re going to push on, right? We’re going to be successful. We’re going to help each other, encourage each other, and push each other to succeed.

That’s what this Reality Blog is all about.

Many of you have a lot more experience than I do. Many of you are just starting out. Some have clients already and some don’t. It doesn’t matter what stage you are in your business … We can all learn from each other.

If you look through the archives of B2B Writing Success, you can learn how to write pretty much anything you need. But what you won’t find is a personalized guidebook for each article on how you can apply the concepts to your business. And because of that, we often we acquire the knowledge, but fail to fully implement it.

Sound familiar?

It is for me. I’d say it’s one of my biggest struggles. Heck, I’ve even written about things I failed to implement properly! That’s where the Reality Blog can help — it not only allows me to share my successes, but also forces me to expose my missteps and failures. Ouch!

It’s my hope that you can use my failures to avoid your own. I’ll think of it as taking one for the team. The same goes for successes — if I can do it, so can you.
