Reality Blog: Beware of The Writer’s LifeA freelancer’s life is tough. Sure, you can set your own schedule, work in your pajamas or bathrobe, and take time off whenever you want.

But therein lies a problem, too.

Beware the writer’s life!

Umm, wait a minute, you say. I thought we wanted to live the writer’s life. Isn’t that the point?

Yes, we all want to live the so-called writer’s life. But no, that isn’t the point. The writer’s life means different things to different people — in that sense, it’s more of a feeling or attitude than a professional designation. If anything, it means that we feel enabled to live life how we want and do the things that matter most to us.

But there’s a trap here that many of us fall into.
