Today, productivity is a buzzword. From productivity hacks, apps, and even productivity trackers, we are constantly shown how we can get more done.
We can respond to those emails in our inbox, return our calls, feed the dog, get to work on time, and remember to pick up milk on our way home.
These are all wonderful things, but they don’t really do productivity justice.
Productivity as a freelancer isn’t simply about getting more done; it is about getting what you want done.
Sure, it sounds great to get up early clean the house, walk the dog, shoot out a few emails, and organize your inbox, but if your goal is to start your own business, these things are not really moving you toward that goal.
Productivity, you see, is goal specific. Being busy, on the other hand is not.
For example, if I stood in front of you and threw three softballs at you every 20 seconds, you’d be very busy catching them. And if your goal is to learn to catch softballs, that’s great. But, if your goal is to start your own business, catching softballs won’t get you there.
Instead, you need a plan to achieve your goals.
This Productivity Roadmap will help you create a plan of action, and follow it through.
Let’s get started…
