And that’s one of the wonderful things about freelance copywriting nowadays — thanks to modern technology, the world is a little smaller, and we have a big pool of international clients to work with.
I don’t think of it as that different from working with my U.S.-based clients. And maybe that’s because I’m pretty comfortable with overseas communications, after traveling and living abroad.
But, I often have friends ask me how it works. How I negotiate currency differences, language barriers, and more.
Here’s a general set of guidelines that will make it easy for you to work with clients from around the world…
