Reality Blog: How to Make Your First Writing Draft Fun

I love writing. I really do.

However, when I’m bogged down with multiple projects — trying to keep track of what’s due when, and how to find time for everything — I have moments when I want to throw in the towel. Times when my brain feels sludgy and my back hurts after a day at the desk, and all I want to do is binge on Netflix.

However, even when writing gets hard, I still think it’s a great job. Being a copywriter offers a substantial degree of schedule flexibility and interesting projects. And, on the tough days, there are ways to make the process fun again.

Here’s some advice I recently heard about first drafts that helped me reinfuse some magic and fun back into the writing process…
