What do you do if a copywriting client requests edits you don’t agree with?

Most of the time, I see the value in the edits my clients request. The edits usually aren’t time-consuming, and they help the copy better fit the client’s vision.

However, I recently had a project where I didn’t fully understand why the client requested certain edits. And, I thought the changes might make the copy weaker in some places.

Here’s what I did in that situation.
