If you answered “yes,” then you’ve encountered content marketing in action.

In simple terms, it’s a way of using content to connect with potential customers and build trust and recognition.

In the last post in this Content Marketing Roadmap for Success, I shared the example of the Michelin Guides and how the Michelin tire company created them to inspire their customers to explore the French countryside in their new “horseless carriages.”

While that example dates to 1900, modern content marketing can be just as creative.
