Reality Blog: My Copywriter’s Toolbox

Reality Blog: My Copywriter’s Toolbox

July 29, 2020 | By Curtis Dennis | No Comments

As a carpenter, I have always relied on my tools to get the job done correctly and quickly. As a (soon-to-be-retired) suspended ceiling installer, my tools are much different from a finish or framing carpenter.

Sure, we both carry a hammer, tape measure, pencil, and a few fasteners like nails or screws. But look closer at my toolbox, and you will also see lineman’s pliers, aviation snips, punch pliers, pop riveter, and a torpedo level.

Almost every occupation needs tools of some sort…

  • Chefs need knives, ovens, and pots and pans.
  • Mechanics need screwdrivers, wrenches, and sockets.
  • Farmers need tractors, tillers, and balers.

I am still assembling my copywriter’s toolbox, but here are the tools I am working with now. Can you let me know if I am missing anything?
