Reality Blog: I Need a Resource Page Copywriter

Here was the message I received:

I need a Resource Page Copywriter and I can’t find one anywhere. Can you help me, please?

I wasn’t sure if someone was playing around with my contact form again. Or if this was a legit customer inquiry of some sort. I don’t remember seeing the term “Resource Page Copywriter” in any pricing guide or list of potential writing assignments.

Over a few emails and phone calls, we discussed what he expected from the finished resource page. We agreed on a timeline and price, so he isn’t looking for a Resource Page Copywriter anymore.

A resource page can be a relatively fast and easy project for most copywriters. This week is all about creating resource pages that answer potential prospects’ questions to generate more engagement, leads, and sales for your client.

  • I do a monthly newsletter for a group of ship modelers. It’s always nine pages and the last page is a resource list of Internet forums, modeling clubs and commercial suppliers. It’s always the most used page of the letter.

    • Hi Martin,

That doesn’t surprise me one bit. I built and maintained a couple of non-profits (children’s mental wellness) websites a few years ago. And the resources page usually received the most traffic, month after month.

  • Curtis,
Great information and very well presented! And Martin, your comment was a welcome further explanation!
