Make It Easy for Clients to Say Yes with a Lead Generating E-book

While your freelance writing business may be many things, it’s probably not a household name like The Rolling Stones.

Yet, that doesn’t mean you can’t publish your own “Greatest Hits” of sorts. If you’re a working freelance writer, you have a body of work. Some of it might be blog posts related to your niche.

You can “repurpose” those posts into a compilation, package it as a lead generating e-book, and use it as a marketing tool.

Imagine reaching out to a potential client and letting them know you have experience in their industry. In fact, you wrote an e-book on a relevant topic (with your link).

A lead generating e-book can be a great way to be “known” in your sliver of the working world. When the right people know who you are, it paves the way for interesting and profitable projects to come your way. And, when you talk with potential new clients, they’re already “pre-sold” on you because they know something about you and how you can help them.

After all, you wrote a book on the topic. For this article, I spoke with a few writers and coaches about their approaches.
