You’re not “cutting corners” or “cheating” if you repurpose content you already created by modifying it or reformatting it a bit. For example, the story about creating your company, those great testimonials, and industry statistics that all live on your website can be repackaged to help you sell your copywriting and content writing skills.

Some writers are reluctant to reuse assets to gain new prospective clients. It feels like you’re plagiarizing yourself. But think of it this way: you’re maximizing your audience reach and really doing business in a smart way.

So, how do you start reusing your existing content?
